Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Deployment Lead for its Air Defense team. This role is responsible for delivering and sustaining air defense capabilities that meet U.S. military customer mission requirements. You will manage domestic deployments of Anduril's advanced air defense products while ensuring mission readiness to support national security infrastructure. Key responsibilities include orchestrating hundreds of deployment events annually—including site installations, test and evaluation exercises, demonstrations, training, and maintenance visits. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning hardware supply, logistics, and engineering to achieve mission success. Your work spans the entire deployment lifecycle: site surveys, testing, installation, training, and sustainment operations. You will develop deep expertise in customer mission requirements, including threat assessment, regulatory challenges, resource constraints, and rules of engagement. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will communicate requirements and concepts of operations to Anduril engineers to drive continuous product enhancement. You will also develop thorough technical knowledge of Anduril's Family of Systems, including sensor modalities, sensor fusion, power and networking requirements, and system limitations. Relationship management is central to this role. You will build trust with customers, industry partners, users, and Anduril teammates through effective communication, positive attitude, and reliable follow-through. You demonstrate extraordinary judgment, grit, and composure in high-pressure situations, anticipate contingencies, build lightweight processes, and soberly assess and mitigate risk. Working closely with the Program Manager and Program Chief Engineer, you will develop long-term deployment and sustainment operations aligned with customer priorities. Flexibility, humility, and a collaborative mindset are essential. You represent Anduril to customers, building confidence through professionalism and commitment to excellence, while representing customer feedback back to Anduril to drive continuous improvement.
