Anduril Industries is seeking a Deployment Engineer to support the Anvil product line, a critical defense system powered by Lattice OS. You will bridge development and operations, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of fielded autonomous systems.
In this role, you will provide remote and on-site support to field operations teams deploying and maintaining Anvil systems. You'll troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues on electro-mechanical UAV platforms, driving both immediate resolutions and long-term improvements. You will collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to influence product design based on operational lessons learned.
Key responsibilities include: providing remote support for system installation and operation; troubleshooting hardware and software problems; leading post-mortem events to drive continuous improvement; setting up monitoring and alerting systems to track fleet health; building telemetry and data infrastructure for real-time system visibility; creating technical documentation for customers and engineering teams; and traveling to customer sites (less than 50%) to support product delivery and sustainment.
You will need extensive UAV and small drone operations experience, proficiency with flight telemetry systems and ground control software, and proven ability to troubleshoot operational UAV issues. Strong Linux and command-line skills are essential, along with experience in cloud-based databases, telemetry visualization, and dashboard creation. You must be comfortable with on-call support in high-stakes production environments, driving ambiguous technical issues to data-driven root causes, and communicating complex technical concepts across engineering, operations, and customer teams.
U.S. Person status is required due to export-controlled data access. You must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance and meet health/medical requirements per DFARS regulations.
