Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building cutting-edge foundation models and end-to-end products for businesses. This role bridges Go-To-Market (GTM) and Delivery Engineering teams by owning operational processes, data quality, and automation across the customer journey from initial brief through commercial approval to delivery assignment.
You will serve as the operational backbone of the "Deal Desk" workflow, ensuring seamless handoffs between GTM, commercial approval, and the Engineering Program Manager for delivery team assignment. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the operational process for new customer briefs submitted by GTM; ensure required information is present and properly routed for approval.
- Coordinate transitions from commercial approval to Engineering Program Manager for delivery team assignment.
- Track opportunities through pre-delivery stages, identifying actions, blockers, and missing information.
- Maintain accurate, timely data in Salesforce and Mission Control with customer, opportunity, commercial, and delivery details.
- Establish standards for data entry, documentation, and operational hygiene across teams.
- Develop and maintain reporting on Deal Desk volume, pipeline progression, approvals, delivery assignments, and operational metrics.
- Identify process trends, bottlenecks, and gaps; recommend efficiency improvements.
- Design and implement automation across the GTM-to-Delivery workflow using workflow automation tools, North, and other appropriate platforms. Own automation outcomes end-to-end from identifying manual inefficiencies through implementation, testing, monitoring, and iteration.
- Develop process documentation, workflows, and operational playbooks.
- Help establish clear ownership, SLAs, and operating standards across the workflow.
- Manage coordination across multiple stakeholders and teams.
The ideal candidate combines operational rigor with a systems mindset, proactively eliminating repetitive work, improving data quality, reducing coordination overhead, and building scalable processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations, revenue operations, sales operations, project coordination, or similar roles.
- Experience working with CRM and business operations systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing processes with numerous stakeholders.
- Strong skills in building automations and working with multiple AI tools.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies, investigate root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with ability to convert nebulous ideas into discrete actionable steps and systematize work.
- Experience with data reporting, dashboards, or business intelligence tools is an asset.
