Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. As a Delivery Engineer II, you will own post-sales onboarding and data health for strategic, high-value customers, ensuring they successfully integrate Mixpanel into their core product development processes and data ecosystems.
You will be the primary technical consultant for customers during their onboarding journey, laying the foundation for product analytics adoption and value realization. Your responsibilities include owning end-to-end onboarding experiences, collaborating with customers' engineering, product, and marketing teams to optimize Mixpanel deployments, and improving data trust across their organizations. You will deliver technical services ranging from data architecture consultations to adoption and change management best practices, leveraging modern data architecture expertise to create scalable data governance practices.
Key responsibilities include aligning with pre-sales teams to define business goals and metrics, engaging with customer stakeholders on technical implementation, executing on deliverables while managing project timelines and scope, and serving as a technical sponsor for internal product prioritization requests. You will also build AI automations to help customers manage data at scale and consult on integrating agentic workflows with Mixpanel data.
You should be comfortable with data querying, modeling, and transforming using SQL, dbt, Python, or BI tools. Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses (Google Cloud, Redshift, Azure), product analytics implementation methods (SDKs, CDPs, event streaming, Reverse ETL), and analytics best practices across verticals is essential. Prior experience in customer success, professional services, consulting, or technical project management is required. You should have embedded AI into your workflows, be familiar with MCP servers and AI/data strategy, and possess strong project delivery discipline, communication skills, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
