Fluidstack is building civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure, acquiring power, designing data centers, and operating them at massive scale. The Decision Engineering team within Manufacturing & Supply Chain is hiring Decision Engineers (AI Software Engineers) to build AI-powered decision systems and internal tools that make manufacturing and supply chain operations significantly more productive. In this role, you'll serve as an internal force multiplier, working directly with manufacturing and supply chain teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI augmentation. You'll own tools end-to-end from conception through production, iterating directly with the people who use them. Key responsibilities include building decision systems leveraging frontier models, designing and maintaining shared AI infrastructure (AGENTS.md and SKILLS.md), building custom integrations between LLMs and internal systems (Slack, GitHub, internal APIs, operational data), and staying current with rapidly evolving AI capabilities to proactively identify new opportunities. You'll need 3+ years of production software engineering experience with Go, Python, and TypeScript, strong full-stack web development skills (React, Next.js), and hands-on experience building applications with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-weight models), MCP servers, and agentic frameworks. Daily, demonstrable use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor) with concrete examples of tools built is required. You should be comfortable working autonomously, identifying problems, designing solutions, and shipping results with minimal direction. Strong product and systems judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and excellent communication skills translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders are essential. Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics operations, or building internal tooling for operational teams is a nice-to-have. Compensation includes competitive cash and equity, health/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, and generous PTO.
