As a Dealer Development Manager for Upgrade's Auto Finance Division, you will represent the company and promote indirect lending programs to dealership partners in the Kansas City market. This role requires residency in Kansas City, Missouri. You will develop and maintain relationships with dealership owners, general managers, and finance managers. Key responsibilities include: **Dealer Relationship Management:** Conduct regular in-person dealership visits, act as a trusted advisor, and ensure consistent follow-up and service to maintain dealer satisfaction and loyalty. **Dealer Acquisition & Activation:** Identify and onboard new dealer partners, drive first deals, re-engage inactive dealers, and execute onboarding training to ensure dealers understand programs and systems. **Production & Volume Growth:** Achieve monthly funding and application volume goals, increase contracts per active dealer, focus on growing volume in underserved segments, and drive penetration targets. **Credit & Deal Structuring:** Partner with underwriting and credit teams to structure deals effectively, educate dealers on program guidelines, and improve pull-through by coaching dealers on submitting clean, fundable deals. **Portfolio Performance & Quality:** Monitor dealer portfolio performance metrics, manage dealer mix to align with company risk appetite, and ensure adherence to compliance and credit policies. **Training & Dealer Development:** Conduct ongoing product and process training, educate dealers on value-added products, and position the company as a relationship-driven partner. **Territory & Activity Management:** Maintain a disciplined weekly drive schedule, track activity through CRM systems like Salesforce, analyze territory performance, and participate in team meetings and performance reviews. This is a field-based role requiring significant in-person dealer engagement and local market knowledge.
