Veeam Software, a data and AI trust company headquartered in Seattle with offices in 30+ countries, is seeking a Database Developer to join its product engineering team in Warsaw. You'll work on database architecture, optimization, and modernization for Veeam's reporting and data resilience products.
In this role, you will develop and maintain database structures and objects using PostgreSQL and MS SQL, writing complex queries and stored procedures. You'll optimize existing database code and architecture, modernize and create new reports, widgets, and dashboards for Veeam ONE and new reporting products, and migrate business logic to modern architectures. You'll collaborate closely with analysts and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
You bring 3+ years of commercial product development experience with strong PostgreSQL expertise and solid database theory knowledge. You're comfortable writing complex SQL scripts, functions, and stored procedures, and can read and maintain existing codebases. You have an ownership mindset—reliable, detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to deliver efficiently. You're flexible and eager to learn.
