Veeva Business Consulting, part of Veeva Systems (a public benefit corporation), is seeking a Data Scientist to join its EU Analytics practice. You will help Life Sciences customers accelerate treatment delivery by transforming their approach to technology, data, and AI. The role focuses on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring business impact through advanced analytical solutions.
You will design, prototype, and scale analytics solutions tailored to Life Sciences customers across European markets. Key responsibilities include processing and harmonizing Veeva Data Cloud products with diverse European healthcare data assets, developing statistical methodologies and machine learning models to address complex commercial and strategic questions, and building HCP precision engagement engines that connect healthcare datasets with customer CRM systems for personalized, data-driven targeting.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—product managers, data engineers, operations, and consultants—to deliver end-to-end analytical solutions. You will own analytics assets throughout their lifecycle, including solution design, expectation management, status accountability, and impact measurement. Strong documentation of data methodologies, model architectures, and validation processes is essential to ensure defensibility, scalability, and transparency across client engagements.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of proven experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles, preferably within Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare analytics
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to translate complex technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders and drive pragmatic solution design
- Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI
- Proven ability to design and implement predictive models and intelligent algorithms
- Experience writing process documentation, technical specifications, and data collection guidelines
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of Veeva products
- Experience delivering SaaS or tech-enabled consulting solutions
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Languages in addition to English
- Understanding of healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry data
- Experience with data visualization tools (dashboards and reports)
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines) and automation tools such as Apache Airflow
- Familiarity with cloud-based computing resources such as AWS
