Salary: USD 285,500 - 392,500 / annual
Faire is a technology wholesale platform connecting independent retailers globally with products and brands. The company uses data, tech, and machine learning to power a multi-hundred-billion-dollar fragmented wholesale market, helping boutiques and independent shops discover inventory and grow their businesses.
You will lead the Strategy & Analytics function for the Discovery pillar, which owns the core shopping experience including search, recommendations, ads, and product exploration. This is a people-management role leading a high-performing S&A team while serving as a strategic thought partner to Discovery pillar leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive strategic decisions at the pillar level by conducting pillar-level analysis, identifying white-space opportunities, and connecting insights across product pods
- Build, recruit, coach, and develop an all-star S&A team with clear vision and high performance standards
- Own offensive and defensive tracking for key company and Discovery metrics, establishing a reporting cadence to catch issues early and identify opportunities
- Set the standard for analytical rigor across Discovery, including establishing experimentation best practices and raising the bar on data-driven decision-making
- Make Discovery data usable company-wide by creating datasets, documentation, and self-serve tooling that enable reliable analysis across the organization
- Own data enablement for S&A, including tooling, operating models, and cross-functional relationships to ensure strong analytical foundations
- Create systems and processes that enable the Discovery S&A team to set roadmaps, prioritize effectively, and scale impact
You will work in a hybrid model (3 days/week in office: Tuesdays, Thursdays, plus one flex day) with flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks annually. Faire was founded in 2017 by early product and engineering leads from Square and is backed by Y Combinator, Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, and other top-tier investors. The company has offices in San Francisco, Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto, London, and New York.
