Veeva Business Consulting, the consulting arm of Veeva Systems (a public benefit corporation), is seeking a Data Scientist to join its EU Analytics practice. You will work with Life Sciences companies to transform their operations through advanced analytics, data integration, and AI-driven solutions.
In this role, you will design and scale advanced analytics solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare customers across European markets. You will process and harmonize Veeva Data Cloud products with diverse European healthcare data assets, developing statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address complex commercial and strategic business questions. A key focus will be building HCP (Healthcare Professional) precision engagement engines that integrate disparate healthcare datasets with customer CRM systems to enable personalized, data-driven targeting.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers, operations specialists, and fellow consultants to deliver end-to-end analytical solutions. You will own analytics assets throughout their lifecycle—from solution design through expectation management, status reporting, and impact measurement. You will also maintain clear documentation of data methodologies, model architectures, and validation processes to ensure defensibility and scalability across client engagements.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of proven experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles, preferably within Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare analytics
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a track record of collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate complex technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI
- Proven ability to design and implement predictive models and intelligent algorithms
- Experience writing process documentation, technical specifications, and data collection guidelines
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of Veeva products
- Experience delivering SaaS or tech-enabled consulting solutions
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Languages in addition to English
- Understanding of healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry data
- Experience with data visualization tools (dashboards and reports)
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines) and automation tools such as Apache Airflow
- Familiarity with cloud-based computing resources such as AWS
