SafeRide Health is seeking a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer with healthcare analytics expertise to build the scalable data foundation for their growing healthcare platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing and implementing data models and reporting solutions across encounters, claims, eligibility, rides, and other enterprise data domains.
In this role, you will design and implement reusable data models across multiple business and healthcare data domains. You'll build and optimize data pipelines and reporting architecture using SQL and Python, develop the data foundation for dashboards, KPI reporting, automation, and data-quality measurement, and partner with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. You'll also help establish data warehouse models and standards that can scale as SafeRide Health grows.

What success looks like: building a scalable Data Warehouse Data Model and reporting foundation, establishing a dashboard catalog and supporting KPI design and delivery, and improving measurable data quality with reusable solutions across business domains.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
- 3+ years of professional experience building with SQL and Python
- Strong data warehousing and data modeling experience, including star-schema modeling and report design
- AWS Data Services (Redshift, Athena, S3, DMS, Glue, SageMaker, etc.)
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
- Experience building data solutions in a high-scale or high-expectation engineering environment
- Demonstrated ownership and ability to design and implement solutions in a rapidly transforming environment
- Healthcare industry experience
