Salary: USD 150,000 - 225,000 / annual
Clear Street is a fintech platform that provides sophisticated investors access to diverse assets across markets through a unified, cloud-native capital markets platform. The Control Engineering team is responsible for automating compliance and finance regulatory processes.
As a Data Analytics Engineer on the Controls Engineering team, you will design and build solutions that process large volumes of data from the data warehouse to generate accurate regulatory and financial reporting, including reconciliations. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Compliance, Finance, and Treasury teams to understand regulatory and business requirements, then translate them into scalable technical solutions.
In this role, you will serve as a technical lead, providing guidance on prioritization and technical direction, performing hands-on design and development, conducting code reviews, and establishing technical standards and best practices. You'll leverage Python, SQL, Snowflake, Retool, Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, and REST APIs to solve complex data problems at scale.
Required qualifications include at least 5 years of software design and development experience with CI/CD, source control, testing, and quality management. You must be highly proficient in Python and SQL with strong database design skills and hands-on experience with data warehouses like Snowflake. You should be a self-starter with strong communication skills who can interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus qualifications include experience in post-trade automation and familiarity with financial regulatory reporting standards (EMIR, MFID, SFTR, CPR, K Factor).
