Tabby is a fintech company on a mission to give people power over their money through a complete money app for sending, spending and saving. Founded in 2019, Tabby serves millions of customers and 65,000 global brands, government services and small businesses across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end regulatory reporting pipeline for customer repayment behavior submitted to Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) and Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH). This data is critical—it follows customers to every other lender in the country, so accuracy directly impacts both customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Run the daily submission cycle, including acknowledgements and error reports, fixing errors at the source rather than applying patches to output
- Resolve customer disputes within SLA by validating claims against internal data, correcting or removing records where warranted, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate team
- Own the reporting logic in dbt on BigQuery, including exclusion lists and data-quality checks
- Build and validate reporting logic for new products in coordination with the Credit Bureau before go-live
- Tune submission volume and cadence against the Credit Bureau data dictionary
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the Credit Bureau for clarifications, Service Desk tickets and processing capacity questions
You will sit between a regulator and our production data models, acting as the person who understands how both actually work. This is a high-accountability role requiring precision, attention to detail and strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience as a data, risk or reporting analyst in a lending company or fintech
- Strong SQL skills and real experience working with large datasets in BigQuery
- Ability to read technical specifications closely and apply them exactly as written
- Investigative mindset: you check data before acting on tickets and document your findings
- Professional English, written and spoken (you will work with regulators, customer service teams and engineers)
- Comfort with fixed SLAs and patience working with external counterparties that operate at their own pace
