Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Data Analyst to own the fraud detection and user segmentation work for PuzzlePlay, their new player rewards platform. PuzzlePlay combines fraud and activity signals to understand users and inform revenue-share decisions for a platform where players earn points, complete challenges, and win real prizes across Tripledot's portfolio of casual free-to-play mobile games reaching over 25 million daily active users. In this role, you will be the primary owner of fraud-related segments within the user segmentation system. You'll regularly review and refine fraud signals—including IP spoofing detection, VPN use identification, and unusual play pattern analysis—to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users. As fraud tactics evolve, you'll continuously revisit these signals and work with the product team to decide which verification methods (facial recognition via FaceTec, ID scanning, phone verification, etc.) make sense in each market. You'll own the full lifecycle of fraud segments: deciding how signals should be interpreted, monitoring their effectiveness over time, and investigating users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases in the Tremendous queue. You'll also identify gaps in available signals and recommend third-party tools to the product roadmap where they would strengthen fraud prevention. You'll collaborate closely with the analyst responsible for gameplay signals, alongside product and data colleagues, to keep the segmentation system useful and operationally effective as patterns change. The role is based in Europe, with Warsaw preferred where several team members are located. However, Berlin is listed as the job location. **Requirements:** - Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions (not just working alongside a fraud team) - Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes, with demonstrated interest in how those decisions evolve as tactics change - Ability to work with product and other teams to translate analysis into operational fraud controls
