Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Data Analyst to own the fraud side of user segmentation for PuzzlePlay, their new player rewards platform. PuzzlePlay combines fraud and activity signals to understand users and inform revenue-share decisions in a system that rewards players for engaging with Tripledot's casual, free-to-play mobile games.
You will be responsible for reviewing and refining fraud signals regularly—including IP spoofing, VPN use, and unusual play patterns—to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users. You'll own the fraud-related segments of the user segmentation system, from interpreting signals to monitoring category effectiveness over time. Working closely with product and data colleagues, you'll collaborate on fraud verification tools tailored to different markets, currently using FaceTec for facial verification and potentially expanding to ID scanning or phone verification in other regions.
Additional responsibilities include investigating users flagged for manual review (including ambiguous cases in the Tremendous queue) and identifying gaps in available signals to recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap. As fraud patterns evolve, you'll help the product team decide which verification methods make sense in each market.
The role is open to candidates based in Europe, with Warsaw preferred where several team members are located.
**Requirements:**
- Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions (not just working alongside a fraud team)
- Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes, with an interest in how those decisions change as tactics evolve
- Ability to work with product and other teams to turn analysis into operational fraud controls
