Tripledot Studios, one of the world's largest independent mobile games companies with 2,500+ employees across 12 studios, is seeking a Data Analyst to own the fraud detection and user segmentation work for PuzzlePlay—their new player rewards platform. PuzzlePlay combines fraud and activity signals to understand users and inform revenue-share decisions for a platform where players earn points, complete challenges, and win real prizes across Tripledot's portfolio of casual free-to-play mobile games reaching 25+ million daily active users. In this role, you will be the primary owner of fraud-related segments within the user segmentation system. You'll regularly review and refine fraud signals (including IP spoofing, VPN use, and unusual play patterns) to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users. You'll monitor how well fraud categories perform over time and work closely with the product team to select and implement appropriate verification methods (such as FaceTec facial verification, ID scanning, or phone verification) for different markets. As fraud tactics evolve, you'll investigate users flagged for manual review, identify gaps in available signals, and recommend third-party tools to strengthen the fraud detection roadmap. You'll collaborate with the analyst responsible for gameplay signals, product managers, and other data colleagues to keep the segmentation system effective and aligned with changing fraud patterns. The role is based in Europe, with Warsaw as the preferred location where several team members are based, though candidates from across Europe are welcome to apply. **Requirements:** - Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions (not just working alongside a fraud team) - Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes, with demonstrated interest in how those decisions evolve as fraud tactics change - Ability to work with product and other teams to translate analysis into operational fraud controls
