Swarmer is a Ukrainian defense technology company that develops autonomous drone software enabling large coordinated teams to operate without pilots. The company became the first Ukrainian defense startup to go public on NASDAQ in March 2026 following a $15M Series A, representing the largest investment in Ukrainian defense tech since the war began. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team, focusing on corporate IT infrastructure security rather than product infrastructure. This hands-on role centers on endpoint hardening, identity and access management, and infrastructure security across laptops, BYOD, SaaS platforms, and cloud environments. You will work closely with IT and DevOps teams to maintain security standards and implement industry best practices. Key responsibilities include: maintaining hardening and configuration baselines for endpoints and servers; deploying and managing endpoint protection solutions (EDR/NGAV, antivirus, device management); administering network security controls including firewalls, VPN, and network segmentation; reviewing infrastructure projects from a security perspective; conducting vulnerability scans with risk-based remediation; enforcing identity and access best practices including role-based access, least privilege, and MFA; monitoring security events and logs for anomalies; detecting and remediating security incidents; monitoring cloud and SaaS security posture; and implementing technical security controls with documentation. Required qualifications: 5+ years hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity engineering with clear security specialization; experience administering and hardening Linux, Windows, and macOS systems using MDM solutions; endpoint protection and device management platform experience; solid networking fundamentals knowledge with practical firewall and network security experience; identity and access management/SSO platform experience; vulnerability management and SIEM/SOC monitoring experience; understanding of common attack types and detection methods; familiarity with security frameworks and standards; analytical mindset for risk assessment; clear communication skills; and English proficiency. Advantages include scripting automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), cloud security knowledge, security certifications, and enterprise/critical-infrastructure experience. The role offers professional growth through cutting-edge defense technology exposure, fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracy, competitive salary, comprehensive benefits (insurance, paid sick leave, 20 paid days off annually), defense sector benefits, and flexible remote work options where possible.
