Salary: USD 160,000 - 220,000 / annual
Wiz, one of the fastest-growing software companies ever and now powered by Google, is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join the Threat Research team. The company enables security teams to secure cloud and AI applications by connecting code, cloud, and runtime into a single shared context, trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100.
In this role, you will track, analyze, and report on advanced threats targeting cloud environments. You will synthesize data from internal and external sources to develop comprehensive threat pictures affecting cloud, AI, and developer ecosystems. Key responsibilities include analyzing and tracking state-backed and financially motivated attackers targeting cloud infrastructure, communicating novel findings and in-depth analyses to multiple audiences in various formats, leveraging open and closed data to track infrastructure and malware used by advanced actors, and investigating and attributing incidents, campaigns, and actors to understand threat motivations.
This is a full-time position offering base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The role does not offer visa sponsorship; applicants must have legal right to work in their position's country.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in security or threat research with proven track record of producing detailed and novel analysis and reporting
- Ability to synthesize multiple independent data sources to develop comprehensive campaign pictures
- Basic to intermediate technical analysis skills including infrastructure analysis, malware analysis, or cloud log analysis
- Excellent analytic judgment and familiarity with attribution and evidence-based assessments
- Ability to write quickly and clearly about technical topics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with large-scale telemetry, especially infrastructure hunting and pivoting through query languages and scripting
- Knowledge of major cloud and identity providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native architectures
- Experience writing finished intelligence reports for multiple audiences
- Track record of public communication of novel and newsworthy findings
