Fluidstack is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure for AI at unprecedented speed and scale. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them across hardware and software teams. The mission is to deploy frontier compute infrastructure faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. The Commissioning team is responsible for standing up a commissioning (Cx) program for tens to hundreds of gigawatts of data centers this decade, developing Cx and QA/QC plans for first-of-a-kind modular data center designs, and driving development and implementation of automated L4/L5 commissioning. In this role, you will supervise controls installation verification and checkout across L2–L5 commissioning stages on active data halls. You will run point-to-point verification and witness functional performance tests with the commissioning authority, vendors, and trade partners. You own the controls schedule: sequencing vendor startup, flagging slips early against EFA/FA/FR milestones, and driving punch closure. You will enforce Fluidstack commissioning documentation gates (CX-01–CX-10) and site safety requirements. You will coordinate day/night shift coverage with the Senior Superintendent and report progress to the Site Lead. Fluidstack operates with full autonomy and ownership, insane urgency, first-principles reasoning, and a focus on building something that matters. The role requires willingness to deploy to active construction sites on rotation, including night-shift coverage. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years supervising controls or BMS/EPMS work on mission-critical or large industrial projects; data center commissioning experience strongly preferred - Working command of Tridium/Niagara, ALC, Siemens, or comparable building automation platforms, plus EPMS (Schneider, Eaton, or similar) - Fluency with sequences of operations, points lists, and one-lines; ability to challenge vendor checkout results from the data - Field leadership: shift supervision, trade coordination, and disciplined daily reporting - Willingness to deploy to active construction sites on rotation, including night-shift coverage
