The company is seeking a Customs Associate to join its Customs Team in Amsterdam, supporting the streamlining of customs clearance processes for clients worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for digitally preparing and filing all documentation required to customs clear goods for both import and export shipments. You will review and organize incoming documents to ensure full compliance with EU Customs Regulations, classify products using GRIs (General Rules of Interpretation), and identify opportunities to leverage Preferential Trade Agreements on a per-shipment basis. You'll maintain excellent working relationships with clients by delivering customer service that exceeds expectations, handling large volumes of entries while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of current experience in customs operations
- Familiarity with customs product classification and rulings
- Ability to handle large volumes of entries with accuracy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong logistical problem-solving abilities
- High level of computer literacy; digital-first mindset (no paper processes)
- Dutch language is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction and willingness to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it
