Salary: USD 70,000 - 90,000 / annual
SchooLinks is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support smaller school districts across the country. You will own a portfolio of district accounts, driving engagement, usage, and renewal targets through data-driven strategy and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a portfolio of school district accounts, tracking engagement, usage, and outcome data to assess health and identify action items
- Build and maintain director and executive-level relationships at each district
- Lead the renewal process, including quoting, securing verbal approval, and closing signatures
- Provide structured customer feedback to the Product Team based on customer engagements
- Document problems and challenges faced by districts to inform product development
- Maintain accurate account records and notes in CRM systems (Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar)
- Collaborate with the broader Customer Success Team to meet portfolio targets
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities through multi-threading
- Travel approximately 10% of the time, primarily during back-to-school season (August–October) for customer meetings, trainings, conferences, and company offsites
This role is fully remote and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong customer-centric mindset. You'll use data to drive strategy, manage complex projects, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the K12 education space.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience
- 1+ years of implementation and customer success experience at a SaaS company (ideally K12 or EdTech)
- Strong ability to multitask and manage a large book of business
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Project management skills with understanding of task dependencies and sequencing
- Ability to stay optimistic and proactive in high-stress situations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative in fast-paced environments
- Ability to close renewals and identify expansion opportunities
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, etc.) and Apple/Mac systems
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time, primarily August–October
