Fifth Dimension AI is a Series A company building AI software for firms that invest in and manage real assets. The company helps customers work with complex documents and business data, from leases and financial models to investment memos. They have offices in London, New York, and Singapore.
As a Customer Success Engineer, you will combine practical customer success with building the systems, communications, and learning experiences that make product adoption repeatable and scalable. This is a practical individual contributor role working directly with the CTO and closely with Customer Success, Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building adoption programs: designing onboarding sequences, useful prompts and follow-ups based on actual customer behavior
- Improving first-line support: handling customer questions, identifying recurring issues, maintaining guidance, and building AI-assisted answers with clear human escalation
- Teaching customers: running onboarding sessions, webinars, office hours, and creating videos, examples, and guides for independent learning
- Making product releases useful: explaining changes, reaching affected customers, and measuring adoption
- Troubleshooting: investigating configuration and integration issues, fixing what you can, and providing engineers with clear reproductions when product changes are needed
- Measuring progress: tracking time to first value, repeat use, and manual work removed to inform improvement priorities
You will own onboarding, adoption programs, and routine-support improvements, learning from individual customer problems to create solutions that help many customers. This is not a sales-quota role, not a ticket-answering-only role, and not a senior software engineering role.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in a technical customer role, implementation, support, or operations (strong projects, internships, or your own business can demonstrate equivalent ability)
- Something useful you built yourself: an automation, small tool, or integration you can explain and improve
- Practical AI use with a habit of testing answers and checking tool outputs
- Clear writing, patient teaching, and confidence working directly with customers
- Comfort connecting tools and data through APIs, webhooks, scripting, or automation platforms
- Reliable follow-through and enough data confidence to determine whether your work helped
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, product analytics, SQL, or lifecycle communications
- Experience running training or supporting a specialist professional product
- Real estate or investment-management knowledge (learnable on the job)
