Veeam is the Data and AI Trust Company, specializing in data resilience and data security posture management. As a Senior Customer Success Engineer, you will be the primary technical owner driving long-term customer outcomes across the Veeam Data Platform, managing a portfolio of 5–50 Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts with $100K+ ARR.
You will lead end-to-end customer success activities including onboarding, adoption, and optimization. Key responsibilities include configuring customer accounts, customizing backup policies and storage, facilitating onboarding, and orienting stakeholders through admin portals. You'll identify migration opportunities by analyzing usage and environment, conduct success planning and strategy sessions, and align business outcomes with product adoption.
You will conduct technical assessments, build protection plans, and recommend software products and architectures across the Veeam Data Platform. A critical part of the role involves running recovery simulations, applying the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) to track resilience posture, and delivering quarterly resilience reports to customers.
Proactive account management is essential: you'll monitor signals to detect churn risk early, define mitigation plans, and partner on renewal strategy with actionable technical insights. You'll build business cases, define total cost of ownership (TCO), and articulate value propositions for expansion opportunities. You'll engage CISO/CIO stakeholders with clear risk, status, and opportunity updates, supporting context for executive discussions and roadmap alignment.
You'll collaborate on marketing-informed campaigns to drive adoption and expansion, own the technical success plan and adoption roadmap, and influence pricing, commercial terms, and renewal terms in partnership with Sales and CS leadership.
