Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is an intelligent platform for travel and spend management, trusted by over 12,000 companies worldwide including On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics. The company automates travel bookings, expenses, invoice processing, and related workflows to eliminate shadow work and boost productivity.
As a Customer Care Specialist on the Spend Platform team, you will be a key member of Perk's customer support function, delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving inquiries across multiple channels. You'll respond to customer queries via email and phone in a timely manner, troubleshoot and resolve issues while providing accurate information, and document interactions for internal tracking. You'll own incoming customer requests, create tickets for internal organization, and track incidents or bugs to resolution. Your primary focus will be supporting customers in Germany, Switzerland, and the rest of Europe, while serving as the first point of contact internally for operational knowledge about the software.
Key responsibilities include handling a high frequency of varied tasks with a structured, detail-oriented approach; managing customer inquiries with empathy and transparency; escalating complex cases to appropriate teams; and collaborating cross-functionally to support our evolving product suite.
The ideal candidate has a background in finance or accounting (strong plus), operational experience managing high volumes of external customer inquiries and internal clarifications, and fluency in English. Additional European languages are valued. You should be comfortable with AI-enabled tools and curious about how to leverage them effectively in your work.
Perk offers competitive compensation with equity ownership, generous vacation, private healthcare or gym allowance, life insurance, Spring Health wellbeing access, flexible compensation, 17 weeks' paid parental leave, 16 paid volunteer hours annually, up to 20 work-from-anywhere days, language lessons, and a four-week paid sabbatical after 5 years. The company takes an IRL-first approach with 3 days per week in-office at the Barcelona hub. Relocation support is available.
