Paytm is India's leading digital payments and financial services company offering a variety of payment solutions to consumers and merchants, including acquiring devices (Soundbox, EDC, QR), payment gateways, commerce services, and credit products such as merchant loans, personal loans, and BNPL. In this role, you will evangelize and demonstrate the value of analytics for informed business decision-making by developing and deploying analytical solutions and providing data-driven insights to business stakeholders. You will monitor, analyze, and optimize lending portfolios across consumer and merchant lending products, overseeing portfolio health, developing and refining risk strategies, and supporting business growth through risk-adjusted decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Portfolio Monitoring & Analytics: Track and analyze lending portfolio performance - Risk Strategy & Policy Design: Develop and refine risk management strategies and policies - Stress Testing & Risk Containment: Conduct stress tests and implement risk mitigation measures - Loss Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Forecast losses and plan for various business scenarios - Product & Growth Partnership: Collaborate with product and business teams to support growth - Collections Interface / Strategy: Manage collections strategy and interface - Compliance & Bureau Management: Ensure compliance and manage bureau relationships Requirements: - 5 to 8 years of experience in portfolio risk management in Fintech, Banks, or NBFC - Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, and PySpark - Strong understanding of Bureau data, Alternate Data, Scorecards, and Digital Lending APIs - Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations - Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Metabase - Understanding of machine learning models in credit risk - Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
