Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. The company provides high-limit corporate cards, automated expense management, next-day bill payments, high-yield accounts, and industry-leading support. Trusted by more than 10,000 Canadian companies, Float recently raised $85 million in Series C funding and is backed by world-class investors including Inovia Capital, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, OMERS Ventures, and Silicon Valley Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for diligencing, analyzing, and driving the growth of Float's credit portfolio. You will conduct periodic financial reviews of existing clients, analyzing business fundamentals, financial health, and repayment capacity. You'll assess credit exposures relative to limits, recommend adjustments where necessary, and escalate concerns to the Credit Committee. You'll support the continuous improvement of Float's credit monitoring framework, risk policies, and portfolio management practices, and participate in due diligence calls with executives (CFO, CEO, VP Finance, Controller). Additionally, you'll partner with Sales & Marketing and Customer Success teams to relay feedback on opportunities that add the most value to Float, and use portfolio performance data to derive insights on how to grow and shape the portfolio for optimal impact.
