Fictiv, a leading digital manufacturing platform provider, is seeking a detail-oriented Costing Engineer to join the Cost & Design for Manufacturability (C&DFM) team. This role is 100% focused on platform quoting enhancements for the US market, working on an e-commerce quoting platform that serves innovative companies across the Americas.
In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating cost inputs across the platform to ensure accuracy and competitiveness in the US market. You'll identify gaps in quoting parameters and advise on necessary updates and improvements. A key part of your work involves analyzing quoting trends and providing actionable insights to drive platform performance improvements. You'll support continuous improvement initiatives related to platform quoting accuracy and maintain detailed documentation and version control of all costing parameters.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with 4–7 years of experience in costing, estimating, or manufacturing engineering. You should have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly CNC machining, with hands-on machining background. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred qualifications include experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools, familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles, and prior experience in high-growth tech or manufacturing companies. Experience with e-commerce or digital manufacturing platforms is a plus.
