Freshworks is seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager to join its global Corporate Strategy team and drive high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of complex business problem-solving and executive decision-making, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the Board.
You will own strategic initiatives spanning AI monetization, product strategy, pricing and monetization models, go-to-market (GTM) growth, market expansion, and strategic investments. The work involves moving from ambiguous company-level questions through hypothesis development, analytical frameworks, business case building, and financial modeling to final recommendations and execution support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning high-priority strategic initiatives from initial question through recommendation and execution
- Developing hypotheses and analytical frameworks to solve ambiguous, company-level problems
- Evaluating growth opportunities across AI, product, GTM, pricing, market expansion, and strategic investments
- Building business cases, financial models, market assessments, and scenario analyses
- Partnering directly with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations to shape decisions and drive alignment
- Translating strategy into actionable plans and staying close to execution to measure impact
- Creating executive and Board-level narratives that distill complex analysis into clear choices
- Bringing an outside-in perspective on the SaaS and AI landscape to identify strategic questions
The team operates with the rigor of a top-tier strategy consulting firm but with a critical difference: you don't stop at recommendations. You partner across functions to turn strategy into action and see the real-world impact of decisions you help shape. This is positioned as a highly visible individual contributor role with significant executive exposure and the opportunity to understand how a global SaaS company operates at scale.
Freshworks is at an inflection point, scaling a global SaaS business, expanding enterprise presence, and navigating how AI changes product development, monetization, and customer workflows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a combination of consulting and in-house strategy experience
- Experience from a top-tier management consulting firm, particularly MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) is preferred
- Experience solving growth, product, GTM, pricing, market entry, or investment strategy problems
- Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or technology businesses strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to turn data into business insights and recommendations
- Executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Comfortable moving between high-level strategy and hands-on analysis
- Curious, low ego, and energized by ambiguity
- Ownership mindset: you want to own the outcome, not just deliver the recommendation
