Freshworks is seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager to join its global Corporate Strategy team and drive high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of complex business problem-solving and executive decision-making, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the Board.
You will own strategic initiatives spanning AI monetization, product strategy, pricing and monetization models, go-to-market (GTM) growth, market expansion, and strategic investments. The work involves moving from ambiguous company-level questions through hypothesis development, analytical frameworks, and ultimately to execution and impact measurement. You'll develop business cases, financial models, market assessments, and scenario analyses that inform resource allocation and investment decisions. A key differentiator of this role is that you won't stop at recommendations—you'll partner across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate strategy into action and stay close to execution to understand what's working and where adjustments are needed.
You'll create executive and Board-level narratives that distill complex analysis into clear choices, bring an outside-in perspective on the SaaS and AI landscape, and help identify the strategic questions Freshworks should be asking next. This is a highly visible individual contributor role with significant exposure to senior executives and the Board, offering the opportunity to build deep understanding of how a global SaaS company operates.
Freshworks is at an exciting inflection point: scaling a global SaaS business, expanding enterprise presence, and navigating how AI changes product development, monetization, and customer workflows. For someone transitioning from consulting, this role preserves what you love—complex problems, executive exposure, analytical rigor, and variety—while offering something harder to gain as an advisor: true ownership of outcomes and visibility into whether strategy actually works.
**Requirements:**
- 4–6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a combination of consulting and in-house strategy roles
- Experience from a top-tier management consulting firm, particularly MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), is preferred
- Demonstrated experience solving growth, product, GTM, pricing, market entry, or investment strategy problems
- Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or technology businesses strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to turn data into business insights and recommendations
- Executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Comfort moving between high-level strategy and hands-on analysis
- Curious mindset, low ego, and energized by ambiguity
- Ownership mentality: you want to own the outcome, not just deliver the recommendation
