The Information Security team protects Airwallex's systems, data, and employees while enabling rapid business growth. Security is embedded into operations rather than treated as a blocker.
As a Corporate Security Engineer, you will be a critical technical contributor defending enterprise systems and employees from malware, phishing, and unauthorized access. You'll detect, investigate, and prevent security issues across the modern corporate environment, working on digital forensics, incident response, and tool development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Incident response for malware, phishing, and digital forensics
- Design, develop, test, and evaluate new corporate security controls
- Perform incident response and threat hunting through log sources
- Design and implement security alerts and workflows for the incident response lifecycle
- Secure corporate IT infrastructure across identity providers, endpoints, networks, and other platforms
- Deploy, configure, and operate security tooling with focus on impact
You bring 3+ years of security engineering or incident response experience in tech companies, with strong hands-on expertise in tools like Crowdstrike and Splunk. You have deep understanding of attacker tools and techniques, detection and prevention strategies, and can conduct high-quality incident investigations. Experience with GCP or Alibaba Cloud, Okta, Google Workspace, cloud VPN, and endpoint MDM tools (Kandji, Intune) is valued. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field is required. Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences are essential. Engineering mindset with scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is preferred.
