Workstream is a mission-driven Series B HR, payroll, and hiring platform built specifically for the hourly workforce. With 2.7 billion hourly workers making up 80% of the global workforce, Workstream serves leading brands including Burger King, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers. The company has raised over $120M and is backed by Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue.
You will join the Corporate Partnerships team, which signs and grows brand-level deals with major franchise corporations through MSAs and preferred-vendor agreements. This motion has already generated $15M+ in ARR and is rapidly expanding. You'll own a book of corporate brand relationships and be judged on one metric: signed agreements that convert into rollouts.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
**Hunt:** Prospect into corporate teams (CHROs, VPs of Talent, COOs) at franchise and multi-location brands through conferences, referrals, franchisee champions, trade associations, and outbound prospecting. You drive your own pipeline.
**Close:** Run multi-stakeholder deal cycles to signed MSAs and preferred-vendor agreements, including discovery, tailored business cases, executive presentations, negotiation, and close.
**Grow:** Own relationships post-signature through entitlement execution, QBRs, expansion into payroll and AI products, and ROI storytelling that drives franchisee-wide adoption.
**Team Up:** Work daily with Account Executives, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to ensure brand deals translate into location growth. Bring field intelligence back into company playbooks.
**Move Fast With AI:** Use AI tools for research, prospecting, and proposals as a default workflow.
This is a 4–5 days per week in-office role in San Francisco. The company supports relocation and visa sponsorship. You'll travel for conferences, trade shows, and key customer meetings, with heavier travel during peak conference season.
**Requirements:**
- 2–5 years in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development with real closing experience
- SaaS, HR tech, payroll, restaurant, or franchise exposure is a strong plus
- Founder energy: you've built something from zero (company, side business, territory, meaningful project) and take ownership without being asked; former founders welcome
- Executive presence beyond your years; ability to hold a room with a COO and follow up professionally
- Creative, pushy-in-the-good-way hustler who finds warm paths into accounts and makes cold outreach work
- Hungry for the fastest route to running enterprise deals; willing to be in SF office and outwork the market
- Organized and CRM-disciplined (Salesforce); your pipeline is real, current, and forecastable
