Salary: USD 120,000 - 135,000 / annual
iCapital is seeking a Corporate Development and Strategy Associate to join a high-impact team responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing organic and inorganic strategic initiatives. This role works directly with senior leadership to drive the company's strategic direction and long-term growth.
Key responsibilities include conducting data-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis to support corporate development initiatives; managing end-to-end M&A and partnership processes including due diligence workstreams; building financial forecast models and valuation analyses; conducting sub-sector research on market trends, TAM, competitive landscape, and M&A targets; maintaining organized tracking of industry insights and competitive intelligence; facilitating post-acquisition integration activities; preparing executive-ready deliverables including business plans and financial analyses; collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives; and supporting special projects aligned with senior management's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate development, strategy, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or corporate finance. Strong background in fintech, financial services, or related industries is preferred. Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, and ownership mentality with genuine interest in alternative investments and wealth management. Exceptional communication and analytical skills are essential, with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling. Experience with alternative funds, fund structures, and valuation methodologies is a plus. The role requires thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities.
The position is hybrid, working in-office Monday-Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays. Compensation includes base salary of $120,000-$135,000, equity for all full-time employees, annual performance bonus, employer-matched retirement plan, subsidized healthcare (100% employer-paid dental and vision), telemedicine, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited PTO.
