SoFi is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join their Corporate Development team. You will be an active participant in sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities across all of SoFi's business units. Key responsibilities include: Transaction Evaluation & Execution: Assist throughout all transaction stages—sourcing, qualification, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, closing, and integration. Support development of investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership and the Board. Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build detailed financial models with long-term projections and valuation analyses (DCF, comparable companies, sum-of-the-parts, returns models). Create pro forma financial statements and conduct accretion/dilution and purchase price accounting analyses. Due Diligence: Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate, timely information. Evaluate potential targets or partners and synthesize findings including risks and mitigation strategies. Market & Competitive Analysis: Research potential partners and targets. Stay informed on industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Stakeholder Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including target companies, industry experts, investment banks, and advisors. Strategic Initiatives: Support ad-hoc projects such as evaluating new business lines, product expansions, international entries, divestitures, and expense management. Prepare and present analyses to leadership. You'll receive regular feedback and mentorship from experienced Corporate Development leadership while developing financial modeling and M&A process expertise. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field. 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance, or corporate development. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace proficiency. Familiarity with accounting and key operational metrics required.
