Tanium is seeking a Corporate AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise. This hands-on technical role sits within the Enterprise Architecture team and focuses on translating prioritized AI use cases into secure, scalable, production-ready capabilities that drive measurable business value.
You will partner closely with IT, Security, Data, and Business teams to move AI solutions from ideation through pilot to enterprise impact. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying AI-enabled solutions aligned to business priorities; implementing AI workflows, integrations, and automations across enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow) using leading AI technologies from Anthropic, OpenAI, and others; translating architectural designs into working solutions using prompt engineering, orchestration logic, and RAG patterns; integrating AI solutions with enterprise data sources while ensuring data quality and appropriate access controls; owning operational readiness including monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and optimization; partnering with Security, Privacy, and IT teams to ensure compliance with governance and risk requirements; and developing technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable implementation patterns.
The role requires 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, or application management in enterprise environments. You should have demonstrated experience building, integrating, or operating production systems and hands-on experience implementing AI-enabled solutions, including generative AI concepts such as prompt engineering, embeddings, or RAG with best-in-class AI technologies.
This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in one of five office locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
