Salary: USD 213,000 - 240,000 / annual

FalconX is a pioneering fintech platform revolutionizing institutional access to cryptocurrency markets. The company operates at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting-edge technology, providing comprehensive solutions for digital asset trading strategies, liquidity management, and market navigation. As a Core Quantitative Developer, you will own end-to-end development of electronic trading products and services with a focus on quantitative modeling and risk management. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant technical scope and influence across the organization. Key responsibilities include: • Design and implement quantitative models to assess and manage financial risks (market, credit, operational) in crypto trading contexts • Develop pricing and risk management pipelines for electronic products, conducting comprehensive risk assessments and scenario analyses • Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights • Collaborate with traders, product managers, and researchers to integrate risk management solutions into trading strategies • Ensure pricing and risk frameworks meet the highest standards for institutional clients You will work with some of the largest financial institutions globally, becoming an expert on crypto industry trends and market movements while shaping trading strategies aligned with core values of speed, transparency, and trust. Required qualifications: • Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field • Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB • Familiarity with financial instruments, derivatives, and risk management frameworks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on high-quality research • Excellent communication and collaborative mindset • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environment Bonus experience includes exotic products, infrastructure systems, risk management, numerical methods/optimization, and React.
