Aidoc is the market leader in healthcare AI, having developed the world's largest clinical frontier model that supports nearly 50 million patients annually across 2,000+ medical centers globally. The company has raised over $500 million since 2016 and holds a record number of FDA-cleared solutions. Medical diagnosis faces a critical bottleneck: physician supply has not kept pace with patient volume, leading to misdiagnosis and treatment delays that cause hundreds of thousands of preventable deaths yearly. Aidoc's AI assists clinicians by precisely highlighting diseases on medical images, preventing misdiagnosis and ensuring urgent patients receive immediate attention. Aidoc recently developed the world's largest Medical Foundation Model, enabling acceleration from 3 to 50 new solutions annually—meaning the AI can now analyze 50 additional diseases simultaneously. This breakthrough creates both algorithmic and architectural challenges requiring exceptional engineers experienced in solving world-class problems at scale. The backend systems must: - Scale 10x in patient volume, scan throughput, and solutions per scan - React in real time where minutes of delay can mean the difference between independent discharge and permanent disability - Navigate the immense complexity of healthcare software compliance and integration - Deliver reliability, availability, and security at the highest levels You will be part of a team building complex, scalable, reliable backend systems and data infrastructure. The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, receiving and giving feedback, and helping teammates succeed. You'll work on core product development from ideation through delivery at scale in a fast-paced, mature commercial environment. The company operates a hybrid model from offices at 34 HaMasger Street in Tel Aviv, with parking, daily chef-prepared meals, stocked kitchen, employee gym access, wellness classes, and a collaborative, transparent culture.
