Affirm is seeking a mid-level Copywriter to join the Creative Content Team, part of the larger Content Design organization. This role focuses on creating clear, impactful messaging across product and marketing communications, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and web experiences.
You will write and refine content across multiple product touchpoints while maintaining consistent voice and tone. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Product Marketing, Design, Legal & Compliance) to align messaging with user needs and business objectives. You'll develop and maintain messaging frameworks, content templates, and writing standards to ensure scalability and consistency across product and marketing functions.
You will drive content strategies for campaigns from ideation through A/B testing, support content optimization by analyzing performance metrics and iterating based on testing insights and user feedback, and work closely with the Product Design team to integrate messaging seamlessly into product experiences. Additionally, you'll collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all content meets regulatory standards and champion a content-first approach to design.
The Creative Content Team is a lively group of 10+ Content Designers working independently and collaboratively to create user-friendly and effective product experiences. As part of the broader Product organization, you'll ensure every user interaction is meaningful and aligned with Affirm's goals.

- Familiarity with UX writing principles and best practices
- Self-starter mentality capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to clarity, scalability, and consistency
- Experience with legal and compliance review processes
- Passion for content innovation and fresh approaches to user communication
