Salary: USD 275,000 - 350,000 / annual

As Controller, you will partner directly with the CFO to scale Peregrine's accounting organization and infrastructure for the company's next growth phase. This is a leadership role responsible for building and managing the accounting team while establishing financial systems, policies, and controls appropriate for a high-growth, scaling organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and scaling the accounting organization across GL, revenue, AP, AR, financial reporting, and accounting operations
- Owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Providing technical accounting leadership on complex matters including subscription, professional services, and consumption-based revenue models
- Leading Peregrine through its first external financial statement audit and establishing sustainable audit and reporting processes
- Building and strengthening accounting policies, internal controls, and governance for the company's next stage
- Leading NetSuite implementation and optimization to develop scalable, technology-enabled finance infrastructure
- Supporting international expansion including new entities, global consolidation, and statutory reporting
- Building and developing a high-performing accounting team while establishing infrastructure for future public-company readiness
Ideal candidates bring significant progressive accounting and finance experience in high-growth technology companies with accounting leadership responsibility. Preferred qualifications include experience in both startup/growth-stage and larger-scale environments, strong technical accounting expertise (especially revenue recognition in enterprise software, SaaS, and professional services), experience leading external audits, ERP/NetSuite implementation experience, public-company or IPO-readiness experience, international accounting experience, Big 4 background, and CPA certification. Government contracting or regulated customer environment exposure is a plus.
The role requires 4 days per week in the San Francisco office.
