**Payroll and Benefits:** Administer payroll including approvals and tax filings, administer health insurance and benefits including open enrollment and broker relationships, and ensure accurate recording in the books.
**Tax and Corporate Compliance:** Manage outside CPAs on federal and state income tax, R&D credits, and Delaware franchise tax, own 1099 filings and entity compliance including annual reports and registered agents.
**Reporting and Planning:** Produce monthly management reports and board meeting financials, own budgeting and forecasting, track profitability and cash flow, and lead finance diligence for fundraising.
**Finance Operations:** Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, corporate cards, and expense management; maintain stock compensation accounting and cap table; manage corporate insurance renewals; and own the finance tool stack and process automation.
