Contabilizei is seeking an Accounting Specialist to lead accounting expertise and drive scalability across the organization. This role bridges accounting operations and technology, ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery of accounting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized accounting support to operational and technology teams, improving scalability and effectiveness
- Monitor and communicate updates to accounting regulations, ensuring company-wide understanding
- Analyze process effectiveness, capacity, and automation opportunities; support leadership decision-making
- Drive quality improvements across all accounting service deliverables
- Contribute to scaling initiatives aligned with strategic company objectives
- Mentor and guide teams on accounting best practices and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Administration, or related field
- Strong proficiency with accounting legislation, CPC, CFC, COAF declarations, and international standards
- Knowledge of financial analysis: balance sheets, income statements, trial balances, and financial ratios
- Comfort with technology and digital tools (SQL, BigQuery, Power BI, AI)
- Fluent Portuguese (role is Brazil-based)
Preferred:
- Active CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) certification
