Salary: USD 115,000 - 135,000 / annual

OLIPOP is a Series C beverage company on a mission to positively impact consumer health through functional soda—products with 6-9g of fiber and 2-5g of sugar that deliver science-backed benefits without sacrificing taste. You will lead the voice of the consumer at OLIPOP, owning the development and execution of consumer learning plans that inform marketing campaigns, new product development, creative direction, and strategic planning. You'll serve as a trusted advisor on insight-led decisions that drive both short-term performance and long-term brand growth, and mentor colleagues on translating insights into action. Key responsibilities include: - Champion a consumer-first mindset across the marketing team and broader organization, mentoring colleagues on applying insights to strategic decisions - Lead cross-functional and agency partnerships to embed consumer perspective into briefs, business cases, and sales materials - Design and execute research projects that inform marketing and innovation decisions (concept testing, creative testing, sensory testing, etc.), developing specialized expertise across methodologies - Own vendor relationships and day-to-day project management from design to reporting, ensuring findings translate into clear, actionable recommendations - Drive internal reporting and presentations tracking brand KPIs (household penetration, brand awareness, campaign performance), proactively surfacing trends and implications for leadership - Build and evolve OLIPOP's consumer knowledge, research tools, and insights capabilities, serving as a resource and mentor across functions - Monitor industry trends, cultural shifts, and emerging consumer behaviors, translating them into recommendations that shape brand strategy and innovation You'll report to the Director of Consumer Insights and work in a fully remote, collaborative environment with intentional connection across time zones. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related roles, with demonstrated depth in a specialized research area (CPG experience preferred; beverage a plus) - Highly collaborative, curious, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, agile environment - Advanced knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with experience introducing new approaches to the function - Strong organizational and project management skills—able to independently manage multiple complex projects and mentor others in prioritization - Strong analytical skills—makes complex information simple and compelling for audiences at all levels, including senior leadership - Experience writing and designing surveys to answer business questions, and comfortable advising others on research design - Strategic thinker who connects consumer learning to business implications and influences functional strategy - Proficiency with marketing mix modeling and DIY research tools - Working knowledge of syndicated tools like Nielsen, SPINS, or Numerator preferred - Track record of leading high-priority projects independently and mentoring or advising others
