FIS is seeking a Consultant Lead for Integrated Banking System (IBS) Loans to guide complex client engagements focused on banking operations and integrated platform solutions. In this role, you will serve as a primary client advisor, translating business and technology needs into scalable, outcome-driven solutions that drive measurable improvements in client performance.
You will lead end-to-end client engagements, managing scope, milestones, risks, and measurable outcomes while acting as the primary contact for clients. You'll evaluate business processes, systems, and risks to design practical, scalable solutions and define engagement scope aligned to contractual agreements. Your recommendations will improve efficiency, risk management, and operational performance across multiple concurrent engagements.
Key responsibilities include managing client expectations and executive-level communications, identifying and managing risks and dependencies, applying industry and regulatory expertise to guide client strategy, and collaborating with internal teams across delivery, product, and sales. You will also mentor and guide consultants, driving quality and knowledge sharing, and contribute to reusable assets and continuous improvement of delivery practices.
Required qualifications include 5+ years configuring and supporting integrated banking systems (loans and customer information), strong expertise in financial institution operations and risk frameworks, demonstrated ability to lead complex consulting engagements, advanced problem-solving skills, and proven experience translating business objectives into technology solutions. You must have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, experience mentoring consulting professionals, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications include 10+ years with integrated banking platforms (IBS, IBS Loan Bank Control and Processing, CIS), background in large-scale transformation or system conversions, knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services, experience supporting sales and proposal development, familiarity with data analysis and system integration, and experience with GL integrations in PeopleSoft and IBS environments.
