You will implement Veeva's Commercial Cloud solutions for global and domestic clients, transforming their business processes across commercial and medical functions with efficiency and compliance. This is a full-time permanent, customer-facing role based in Tokyo or Osaka, with occasional onsite customer visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement Commercial Veeva solutions (Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, PromoMats, Events Management, etc.) based on client requirements
- Lead requirements gathering workshops with global and domestic clients
- Manage implementation project tasks including workshop delivery, configuration, validation, data migration, system integration, training, and go-live activities
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams (Japan-based and global)
- Ensure alignment with customer global governance standards
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Strategy, Sales, Customer Success, and other internal teams
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience, with minimum 2 years in IT consulting, professional services, or life sciences IT/commercial roles in a regulated industry (banking, insurance, life sciences)
- Demonstrated exposure to business and IT groups in implementation, administration, or support roles for software solutions
- Experience developing workshop materials, training materials, or leading requirements gathering sessions with business and system stakeholders
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Business-level English and fluent Japanese (required for this Tokyo/Osaka-based role)
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience in life sciences with knowledge of promotional materials or commercial excellence
- Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault PromoMats, Salesforce, Oracle, or other life sciences industry technologies
- Background in data analysis, computer science, or related field
- Experience in services delivery management and/or systems implementation and project management
