Salary: USD 70,000 - 140,000 / annual
Veeva Systems, a leader in cloud-based solutions for the life sciences industry and a public benefit corporation, is seeking a Project Management Consultant to join the Clinical Data Professional Services team. This role focuses on managing project teams implementing Veeva's Clinical Data Suite (EDC, Coder, DQS, and related applications) while maintaining timelines, budgets, and deliverables, with emphasis on customer adoption and successful deployment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to understand clinical data requirements and translate them into project plans. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project timelines using tools like Jira and Smartsheet, managing resource allocation across workstreams, identifying and mitigating technical and operational risks, and delivering regular progress reports to stakeholders. You'll coordinate with life sciences teams including Data Management, IT, Programmers, Statisticians, and Quality Assurance throughout the software implementation lifecycle—from requirements gathering through user acceptance testing to post-implementation support. Additional duties include overseeing third-party vendors and integration partners, developing end-user training and change management materials, and managing the transition from deployment to operational support.
Work schedule is generally Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, though hours may vary based on customer needs and deliverables. Veeva operates as a Work Anywhere company, supporting flexibility to work from home or in the office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of software implementation experience
- 2+ years of life sciences industry experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and business software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with clinical data software (EDC, eCOA, etc.)
- Experience with Veeva Vault
- Experience with project management software (Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
