Salary: USD 70,000 - 140,000 / annual
Veeva Systems, a leader in cloud-based solutions for the life sciences industry and a public benefit corporation, is seeking a Project Management Consultant to join the Clinical Data Professional Services team. This role focuses on managing project teams implementing Veeva's Clinical Data Suite (EDC, Coder, DQS, and related applications) with emphasis on maintaining timelines, budgets, deliverables, and driving customer adoption.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to understand clinical data requirements and translate them into project plans. Key responsibilities include developing timelines aligned with contracted statements of work, maintaining project schedules and budgets using tools like Jira and Smartsheet, managing project teams and resource allocation, and identifying technical and operational risks with mitigation strategies. You'll deliver regular progress reports and executive summaries, oversee third-party software vendors and integration partners, and coordinate with life sciences teams (Data Management, IT, Programmers, Statisticians, QA) throughout the software implementation lifecycle—from requirements gathering through user acceptance testing and post-implementation support. You'll also collaborate on end-user training and change management materials to ensure smooth transitions from deployment to operational support.
Work schedule is generally Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with flexibility based on customer needs and deliverables. Veeva operates as a Work Anywhere company, supporting both remote and in-office work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of software implementation experience
- 2+ years of life sciences industry experience
- Proficiency in business software including MS Office
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with clinical data software (EDC, eCOA, etc.)
- Experience with Veeva Vault
- Experience with project management software (Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
