True Anomaly is seeking a Component Test Engineer to join its growing team supporting the verification and validation lifecycle of advanced avionics components and subsystems for aerospace applications. The role spans the full product development lifecycle, from initial board bring-up through functional testing, acceptance testing, and qualification testing. Key responsibilities include: - Design and implement functional test procedures to verify component performance against design specifications - Develop automated test scripts and sequences to improve test efficiency and repeatability - Perform electrical characterization and validation of components under various operating conditions - Analyze test data and provide feedback to design teams - Execute component-level tests across all development phases - Ensure all avionics components meet performance specifications and reliability standards in demanding aerospace environments - Collaborate closely with design, hardware, and software teams throughout the product development lifecycle - Document test results and maintain comprehensive test records The ideal candidate will have experience with aerospace component testing, test automation, electrical characterization, and familiarity with aerospace standards and qualification processes. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a mission-critical environment.
