Alan is a prevention-focused health insurance company serving 1M+ members across 40K+ companies, with €800M+ ARR. The company is scaling to 10 countries within five years and building a Corporate team (legal, privacy, governance, risk, compliance, security) to support regulated growth. You will join as a Compliance Operations Builder—a newly created role focused on making regulated work scale seamlessly with product development. Rather than manual, disconnected compliance processes, you'll build the operational infrastructure and tooling that absorbs Alan's growing regulatory load across markets and products. Key missions: - Design and ship systems that give internal teams (product, business, etc.) a single, fast way to request and receive compliance support, eliminating bottlenecks. - Rebuild compliance processes end-to-end: identify pain points, understand workarounds, redesign for speed and compliance, and iterate post-launch based on real usage. - Anticipate regulatory friction before it becomes a blocker, designing solutions that keep Alan both compliant and fast. - Measure impact: set clear goals for each initiative and track adoption and efficiency gains. In your first six months, you will ship a first system for internal teams, own at least one process from problem to live automated solution, and become a trusted builder for the Corporate team. You bring: - A track record of turning manual, repetitive work into automated or self-serve solutions using no-code, low-code, or AI tools (work, internships, or personal projects). - Curiosity about regulated work and why compliance processes exist; ability to ramp fast on new domains. - Fluency in French and English (professional level). - Builder mindset: move fast, prioritize ruthlessly, test as you go, favor delivery over polish. - Explorer mindset: dig deep into vague problems, frame them well, stay solution-oriented. - Sound judgment: sense when shortcuts break legal/privacy/security requirements; know when to escalate. - Project ownership: drive end-to-end from research to delivery to adoption. - Clear communication with stakeholders. Location: You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain. Remote flexibility is offered, but in-person collaboration is valued.
