Salary: USD 115,000 - 180,000 / annual

Affirm is seeking a Compliance Lead to support critical compliance management program elements, specifically administering the Compliance Testing Program. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, you will work independently and cross-functionally to ensure Affirm's adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include: - Perform ongoing compliance testing and reporting on adherence to compliance program and federal/state regulatory requirements - Work closely with multiple departments (Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, Engineering, Operations) while completing reviews - Support a fast-paced business with tight deadlines while delivering diligent and detailed work - Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls - Coordinate execution of compliance risk assessments and control inventories, including collecting and documenting results - Serve as an expert in regulatory compliance as it applies to new and revised products and services - Continuously improve internal compliance processes relating to the Compliance Testing Program Affirm's Compliance team operates as a second line of defense, proactively partnering with the business to support new products, markets, initiatives, change management, issue identification and remediation, and third-party assessment/monitoring. Requirements: - 5+ years of professional work experience in Compliance Testing or Audit - Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends impacting fintech/lending businesses - Experience completing end-to-end compliance testing activities - Strong communication and relationship management skills - Inquisitive and proactive approach to proposing creative solutions; ability to learn and adapt in fast-paced environments - Strong project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills - Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to present complex and sensitive issues clearly - Proficient with Google Docs, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and various software packages - Detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
