Charles IT is seeking a Compliance Administrator to manage compliance assessments, develop and maintain policies, and ensure organizational adherence to regulatory frameworks. This role serves as a bridge between internal teams, clients, and external auditors, working under the guidance of the Managed Compliance Supervisor. Key responsibilities include writing and updating policies to meet regulatory requirements, performing gap assessments, and collaborating with clients on policy approvals. The role involves setting up clients in GRC platforms, applying baseline compliance standards, and managing compliance tasks. You will conduct internal and third-party risk assessments, collect evidence for external auditors, and respond to due diligence questionnaires on behalf of clients. Project management is central to this position—you'll track deliverables, communicate progress through GRC platforms and ticketing systems, maintain meeting minutes, and ensure timely completion of client objectives. You'll also build and maintain strong client relationships, provide technical guidance on compliance requirements, and contribute to monthly meeting agendas and client roadmaps. The role covers multiple compliance frameworks including CCPA, CMMC, FINRA, HIPAA, NIST CSF 2.0, NYDFS, SOC 2, and others as needed. You'll work with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders, requiring clear communication across all levels. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Compliance, or related field; 3+ years of auditing, compliance, or IT security experience. Current certifications (CISA, CIPP, CCP, or equivalent) are strongly preferred. You must have experience with GRC platforms, policy management tools, and audit preparation processes, along with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Valid US driver's license and ability to pass background check required.
