Salary: USD 69,000 - 74,000 / annual

Boulder Care, a Series C healthtech company focused on substance use disorder care, is hiring a Community Engagement Liaison based in the Olympia, Tacoma, Edmonds, Port Angeles, Bellingham, or Vancouver area of Washington State. This hybrid role requires 3–4 days per week in the field conducting partner meetings, outreach visits, and attending community events, with the remainder of the work week spent in a home-based remote office for administrative tasks. You will serve as the trusted face of Boulder Care's mission in your community, building authentic relationships with healthcare providers, community agencies, advocates, and local partners to advance harm-reduction approaches to substance use disorder care. The role offers autonomy to shape outreach efforts, foster referral networks, and open doors for people to access support. Key responsibilities include: **Community Outreach (75%):** Conduct outreach to local and regional partners including healthcare providers, community agencies, correctional facilities, and treatment facilities to develop and sustain relationships. Coordinate efforts to manage and grow enrollment for targeted regions, track outreach effectiveness, and identify leads for service expansion. Lead marketing presentations in various meetings (in-person and virtual), establish and maintain referral partner accounts, and meet or exceed established productivity metrics and enrollment targets. **Planning & Documentation (15%):** Complete documentation and send follow-up correspondence within 48 hours of activities. Engage in consistent planning, tracking, and documenting of activities. Participate in weekly meetings with state-based teams, enrollment leads, and others. **Project Management (10%):** Coordinate with teams across different regions to align resources and projects. Create 6–12 month statewide plans in collaboration with clinical staff and leadership. This is a full-time position working 40 hours Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility for additional days as needed. You must reside in one of the specified Washington areas to support effective regional coverage. **Requirements:** - 3+ years of experience in community outreach, business development/sales, and/or referral management within healthcare or hospital systems - Strong account management skills and demonstrated track record of driving growth through strategic and sustained partner engagement - Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.) - Current driver's license, proof of acceptable automobile insurance coverage, and reliable transportation - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including well-developed public speaking abilities - Ability to take initiative and work autonomously - High ethical standards of behavior - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required **Nice to have:** - Previous knowledge of and passion for substance use disorder care - Experience in hospital discharge planning, case management, or behavioral health - Experience working within or directly with large safety net hospitals in the region - Experience with digital outreach and advocacy - Bilingual in English and Spanish
